Shipboard WLAN

3eTI has experience in designing secure, ship-wide wireless local area networks that allow for communication from end-to-end of the ship while in port or when sailing. These networks can include the installation of sensors on critical systems to allow for the transmission of maintenance data over a wireless network in real time. 3eTI also offers a portable rugged device that can be carried by a sailor and used to record and send information while moving about the ship. 3eTI has installed secure wireless networks in the state room of ships to be used by officers accessing confidential data from remote locations.

Automated Maintenance Environment (AME)

Communication on-board ship is essential to sailors performing thousands of tasks associated with ship operations. 3eTI designed a shipboard wireless local area network (WLAN) that allowed the installation of sensors on critical equipments to report status in real-time as well as allow for sailors to send data over a wireless network, versus manually carrying data from about the ship to the chief engineering office or to the Integrated Condition Assessment System (ICAS).
