Andrew L. Adams Named CEO of EF Johnson Technologies, Inc.

Irving, TX – November 11, 2010 – EF Johnson Technologies, Inc. today announced that Andrew L. Adams has been named CEO, replacing Norman Stout, who served as interim CEO following the acquisition of the company in August 2010 by Francisco Partners, a global technology-focused private equity fund.

Mr. Stout, who served as interim CEO following the acquisition of the company, will remain as Chairman of the Board of Directors.  “The EFJohnson team is excited to have Andy join the company,” Mr. Stout said.  “Andy brings over 15 years of experience in radio engineering and design and he will be an outstanding leader for EFJohnson Technologies.”

Prior to joining EFJohnson Technologies, Mr. Adams served as President of the Industrial Solutions Division of Belden Corporation.  Belden Corporation is a $1.4B company that designs, manufactures, and markets signal transmission products to industrial, broadcast, and enterprise customers worldwide.  Before joining Belden, Mr. Adams was with Harris Corporation for 15 years where he held several positions in the RF Communications Division.

Mr. Adams holds a BS and a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He also holds a MBA in Finance from the University of Rochester – William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration, and completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School Executive Education Program.
