KW21-4XX Scrambler

The KW21-4XX is available in four levels of security.

It offers easy plug-in installation for TK-2180 / 3180 portable, TK-7180 / 8180 mobile, and several other Kenwood radio models.

The KW21-4XX is easy to install, requires very low power to operate and offers outstanding voice quality. The Over-the-Air Reprogramming (OTAR) feature enables ANI codes and system controls to be changed while the radio is in the field. The Automatic Receive option allows for automatic detection of both clear and coded communication modes. The Disable Radio function can make the radio unable to receive or transmit messages, preventing breaches in communications security. In addition, the KW21-4XX does not affect the use of a system's sub-audible signaling options, such as transparent operation through repeaters.

KW21-760 Scrambler

The KW21-760 (VoSec) is the ultimate voice security module available for a variety of Kenwood radios. It uses 128-bit digital encryption to secure the digitally coded voice information and works in wide and narrow band radio systems. It is also compatible with Transcrypt 4XX Series modules.

The KW21-760 installs quickly, using a plug-in connection. The plug-in design fits in a variety of popular Kenwood radios, including TK-5210 and TK-5710 P25 radios, and TK-X160, TK-X180 and TK-X180 MPT-style Kenwood radios.
