MO83 Scrambler
The MO83 is available in four levels of security. This module is designed to fit several popular Motorola radio models, including the CP140/160/180, CM140/160, PR400, EP450, EM400, CM300, PM400 and GP3188.
The MO83 is easy to install, requires very low power to operate and offers outstanding voice quality. The Over-the-Air Reprogramming (OTAR) feature enables ANI codes and system controls to be changed while the radio is in the field. The Automatic Receive Option allows for automatic detection of both clear and coded communication modes. The Disable Radio Function can make the radio unable to receive or transmit messages, preventing breaches in communications security. In addition, the MO83 does not affect the use of a system's sub-audible signaling options, such as transparent operation through repeaters.
