AirGuard™ 3e-525A-3 Basic Wireless Access Point

The AirGuard™ 3e-525A-3 Basic Wireless Access Point provides secure mesh network, gateway, and bridge / repeater capabilities for wireless voice, video and data applications. It features two-radio configuration with a 2.4 GHz (802.11a/b/g) Wi-Fi radio and a 5.8 GHz (802.11a/b/g) radio packaged in a Military IP66 outdoor rugged, weatherproof enclosure. The 3e-525A-3 Basic is FIPS 140-2 Validated™. The 3e-525A-3 Basic operates on Power-over-Ethernet and can be used for a variety of secure communication applications including homeland defense, military, law enforcement, public safety and industrial / commercial applications.

Highlights:

Mesh Networking: Creates a self configuring, self-healing secure wireless mesh network in a matter of seconds to enable seamless and secure voice, video, and data communications. Detects and reports rogue access points.

Validated Security: Highly secure AES and 3DES encryption and FIPS 140-2 Validation™ meets stringent Department of Defense wireless security requirements. Based on a Common Criteria Level EAL2+ certified design.

Dual Radio: Features two-way radio configuration with a 2.4 GHz (802.11a/b/g) Wi-Fi radio and a 5.8 GHz (802.11a) radio.

Rugged Design: Designed to meet MIL-STD 901D for shock and MIL-STD 167 for vibration. Packaged in a weather resistant enclosure that can be used in a variety of climates and conditions.

Multiple Modes: Offers mesh network, gateway, and bridge / repeater modes and can accommodate multiple nodes in a network.

High Data Rates: In access point or gateway mode, it can establish links to laptops, PDAs and other wireless devices at data rates from 11 Mbps to up to 108 Mbps. When configured for mesh networking, repeater or bridging applications, the device options also support wireless signaling for link data rates up to 108 Mbps.

IEEE 802.1q VLAN: Allows use of multiple SSIDs for varying service types over a common physical network. Each VLAN can be assigned a unique security policy.

Power over Ethernet (PoE): Saves time and reduces costs associated with powerline cabling.

Device Management: Easy set up via an HTTPS Web server or SNMP v1, v2c or v3.
