Company to provide Project 25 compliant radios

Irving, TX – December 10, 2008 – EF Johnson Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: EFJI) announced today that it has received an order valued at $2.7 million from an international customer. The order calls for the company to provide its Project 25 compliant portable radios and accessories.

“Our Project 25 compliant radios are versatile, rugged, and designed for public safety. These portable radios are ideal for public safety agencies seeking a simple solution to P25 compliance,” said Michael Jalbert, president and chief executive officer of EF Johnson Technologies, Inc. The company expects to ship the order in the fourth quarter, Jalbert added.
