EF Johnson Technologies, Inc. Receives $4.5 Million in Orders to Support the Department of Defense Advanced Metering Infrastructure Program

Company to provide secure wireless products for energy management systems

Irving, TX – April 6, 2010 – EF Johnson Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: EFJI) today announced that its 3e Technologies International (3eTI) subsidiary has received orders valued at $4.5 million from U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) prime contractors to deliver its FIPS 140-2 Validated™ secure wireless mesh products in support of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) program. The orders call for the Company to deliver its products for deployment across many DoD locations.
